The time has come to start revealing the award winners this season, and in a change from previous years, we begin with the People’s Choice Awards category.
Back in April on the page, nominations were open, and a number of names were submitted for all the awards in this category. After nominations closed, we narrowed down the nominees to six, and voting was opened for a three-week window in April-May.
Those votes have been counted, and we have our winners.
The final award in this category is People’s Choice Women’s Team of the Year
The shortlisted nominees are Team Christina Black of Nova Scotia, Team Kerri Einarson of Manitoba, Team Gim Eun-Ji of Korea, Team Anna Hasselborg of Sweden, Team Rachel Homan of Ontario, and Team Silvana Tirinzoni of Switzerland.
